Bangladesh Pharmacy Council visited the Department of Pharmacy of World University of Bangladesh on June 15, 2023. As part of the regular visit of the Council, a delegation visited the infrastructural aspects of the Department of Pharmacy of World University of Bangladesh and gave some recommendations and directions for the development of the department.

The university authority implemented the recommendations and directions of the council and informs the appropriate authorities. The Council again visited the Department of Pharmacy of World University of Bangladesh last December 12, 2023.

Professor Dr. Feroz Ahmed, Chairman, Department of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka led the inspection team.  Professor Dr. Md. Hasan Kausar, General Secretary, Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Society; Pharmacy Council Secretary Muhammad Mahbubul Haque and Deputy Director Md Asif Hasan were also in the inspection team.

The delegation expressed satisfaction with the new laboratory building, furniture, equipment, animal house, medicinal plant garden and overall lab setup of the department. Based on the recommendations of the inspection team, Bangladesh Pharmacy Council renewed the accreditation of Department of Pharmacy of World University of Bangladesh. At present, all activities of the department including admission are going on.
