In collaboration with USAID, the Department of Business Administration
at the World University of Bangladesh organized a Training of Trainers (TOT)
program on Integrated Supply Chain Management on 18 May 2024. The
trainer was Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Habib, a renowned expert in Supply Chain
Management.
The chief guest of the program was Heroic
Freedom Fighter Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Honorable Vice Chancellor
of the World University of Bangladesh. Other distinguished guests included
Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor & Professor Zaki Imam,
Registrar of the World University of Bangladesh and all the faculty members of
the Business Administration department, along with some faculty members from
other departments, Senior Deputy Registrar, Director & Additional Director
of IQAC, and other administrative officers attended the full-day training
session.
The purpose of the training is to ensure the
capabilities of the faculty members to share their knowledge and skills in the
classroom for the upcoming Certificate Course in Integrated Supply Chain
Management.
The Department of Business Administration at the
World University of Bangladesh has started the admission process for those
interested in pursuing a successful career in Supply Chain Management. This
course is also very useful for those currently pursuing a career in Supply
Chain Management, as multiple modules have been included to cover all aspects
of the field. There are three levels (Basic, Advanced, and Diploma) in the
Certificate Course on Integrated Supply Chain Management. After the successful
completion of these three levels, there is a significant opportunity for job
placement. A notable feature of this course is that enrolled participants will
gain practical experiences through industry visits.
