Two-Day Clemon Uni Cricket 2025 Tournament Kicks Off at World University of Bangladesh

World University of Bangladesh (WUB) proudly inaugurated the Clemon Uni Cricket 2025 tournament on May 20, 2025, at the WUB Campus Field, marking the beginning of an exciting two-day inter-departmental cricket competition.

Organized in collaboration with Clemon, the popular beverage brand, the tournament brings together enthusiastic teams representing all departments of the university. The event aims to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among students while fostering a vibrant campus spirit.

The opening ceremony was attended by senior university officials, faculty members, students and representatives from Clemon. In his welcome address, Prof. Zaki Imam, Registrar, World University of Bangladesh emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping well-rounded graduates and praised the students' active participation in university sports.

Day one featured thrilling group-stage matches with impressive performances, passionate support from the sidelines, and a strong display of camaraderie. The final match and closing ceremony are scheduled for May 21, 2025, where the winning team will be awarded the Clemon Uni Cricket 2025 Champion Trophy along with medals and certificates.

The tournament reflected WUB’s dedication to encouraging student engagement beyond the classroom and supporting a balanced academic and recreational lifestyle.
