“A Grand Celebration of Unity, Excellence & Pride: Eid Reunion | Clemon Uni Campus Tournament | Book Unveiling & Cultural Programme”

The Department of Civil Engineering, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) proudly hosted a grand, multi-faceted celebration at the university’s iconic campus. The event brought together a vibrant blend of academic and cultural festivities, including the Eid Reunion, the Clemon Uni Campus Cricket Tournament Championship Celebration, a Book Unveiling Ceremony featuring “Open Channel Flow Lab Manual” authored by Dr. Rabindra Ranjan Saha, and an inspiring Cultural Programme. This landmark occasion served as a tribute to the spirit of unity, scholarly excellence, and the active engagement of students within the department.

The celebration was honored by the esteemed presence of distinguished guests. The Chief Guest for the event was Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of WUB. Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar, and Md. Kamrul Hossain, Joint Registrar, attended as Special Guests. The program was further graced by the special presence of Professor AFM Abdur Rouf, the most senior faculty member of the department. The entire event was chaired by Mr. Sagor Kumar Podder, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, whose leadership and vision continue to drive the department forward.

The highlight of the day was the recognition of the Civil Engineering Department's cricket team, which emerged as champions in the Clemon Uni Campus Cricket Tournament. In a symbolic and emotional gesture, the department presented customized medals to the players as a token of appreciation for their dedication and teamwork.
