A Day of Compassion: CSE Students Visit Apan Nibash Old Age Home

As part of a unique initiative to foster ethical values and humanity, the students of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), World University of Bangladesh, spent a meaningful day at Apan Nibash Old Age Home, Uttara, Dhaka, on 12 August 2025.

During the day-long program, students engaged in conversations with the elderly residents, inquired about their health, and shared lunch with them. They also closely observed the living environment and daily life of the residents, realizing that the greatest needs of the elderly are love and respect.This initiative not only strengthened the students’ sense of social responsibility but also created memorable moments of warmth, empathy, and human connection.
