are delighted to announce that Md.
Tasbirul Alom and Rahma Alam
Samiha, students from the Department of Computer Science &
Engineering (CSE), World University
of Bangladesh, have been selected for the prestigious Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA ’25).
They
will participate in the 12-week
Globalink Research Internship (GRI ’25) program, funded by Mitacs, at Algoma University, Ontario, Canada, as Undergraduate Student
Visiting Researchers. Their research will focus on the cutting-edge field of Quantum Machine Learning.
This
achievement not only highlights the exceptional talent of our students but also
reflects WUB’s growing collaboration with Algoma University, fostering opportunities in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence,
and Quantum Computing, as well as creating new avenues for international research partnerships and
student exchanges.
