The 33rd batch of the Department of Pharmacy
at the World University of Bangladesh
(WUB) has successfully completed its In-Plant Training at several renowned pharmaceutical companies
across the country. As part of this academic program, a Poster Presentation was held on September 26, 2025, at the university campus, where students
showcased their training experiences, research findings, and key learning
outcomes.
The session was
graced by Mr. Mohammed Samiul Hossain
Sujan, Product Manager at
Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd., who attended as an expert evaluator and provided insightful feedback to the
participants.
The In-Plant Training is a vital component
of the Pharmacy curriculum, designed to bridge the gap between theoretical
knowledge and industrial practice. It equips students with essential hands-on
experience and real-world exposure to Bangladesh’s dynamic pharmaceutical
sector.
The event was
further honored by the presence of Professor
Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro
Vice-Chancellor; Professor Zaki
Imam, Registrar; and Professor Dr. Md. Harun-Or-Rashid, Head of the Department of Pharmacy.
Their motivational remarks and active participation inspired students to pursue
academic and professional excellence and to apply their learning toward
meaningful contributions to the pharmaceutical industry.
