Reunion Program of the 96th Batch, Department of Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) successfully organized a reunion program for its 96th batch on the morning of September 19, 2025, at the university campus. The joyous occasion brought together students, faculty members, and distinguished guests in a vibrant atmosphere of unity and celebration.

The event was graced by Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor of WUB, as the Chief Guest, and Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar of WUB, as the Special Guest. The session was chaired by Mr. Sagor Kumar Podder, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. The presence of Md. Kamrul Hossain and A.N.M. Ahsan Thouhid Milton, Joint Registrar; Dr. Leevesh Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering; along with other faculty members and students, added warmth and prestige to the occasion.

In his inspiring address, the Chief Guest encouraged students to appreciate the serene natural beauty of the WUB campus, where catkin flowers bloom like cherry blossoms and tulips, creating an environment that fosters both learning and inspiration. The Special Guest expressed his appreciation to the Department of Civil Engineering and the students for organizing such a beautiful event and urged them to pursue their academic journey with dedication, leadership, and pride as true ambassadors of WUB.

Chairperson Mr. Sagor Kumar Podder expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the honorable guests, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success. He reminded students of the proud legacy of the Department of Civil Engineering in leading the university community and emphasized that the responsibility to uphold this reputation now rests on their shoulders.
