Seminar on “Standardized Project Management Practices (SPMP) in Textile Sectors: Praxeologically towards the Sustainability in Bangladesh Perspective”

The Department of Textile Engineering of World University of Bangladesh has organized a seminar on “Standardized Project Management Practices (SPMP) in Textile Sectors: Praxeologically towards the Sustainability in Bangladesh Perspective” on January 29th, 2020 at the Panthapath Campus. Md. Tahzibul Haque (Shahin), PhD Fellow, Faculty of Engineering (FKJ), UNIVERSITY OF MALAYSIA SABAH (UMS), MALAYSIA, was present as the keynote speaker. Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor,WUB adorned the chair of the chief guest and Prof. A F M Abdur Rauf , Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering was present as special guest. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Head of the Department of Textile Engineering, presided over the session. Mr. Tahzibul mainly emphasized on the application of Proxeological approach of sustainability in our textile sector. He pin pointed some crucial factors which have an immense effect in standardized project management process. All the speakers spoke highly for arranging such kind of seminar. They opined that there is no alternative to sustainable approach of all our activities as we are passing through the Industrial 4.0 revolution. Moreover, they urged to adopt all the modern tools to run our industries effectively to the next level.
