“International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Advanced Science (ICETEAS 2021)”

 

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering, World University of Bangladesh organized an international conference titled “International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Advanced Science (ICETEAS 2021)”. The aim of ICETEAS was to engage academics, researchers and scholars from all over the world to existing and forthcoming developments in the suitable fields of engineering and science. The inauguration ceremony of ICETEAS conference held on November 4, 2021 at 10:00 am. The conference will run virtually on Google Meet for two days from November 4 to November 5, 2021. It will be podcasted on the WUB official Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/wubedubd.

Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, honorable Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh adorned the conference as inauguration speaker while opening address by Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Quamruzzaman, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, WUB delivered the introductory speech. Dr. Mohd. Suffian Misran, University of Malaya Sabah (UMS), Malaysia, Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Head,  Mechatronics Engineering Department, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) and Dr. Md. Azizul Haque, Assistant Professor, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) contributed as the keynote speakers in this conference.

The two-day event will have a total of four technical sessions where speakers will discuss the different field of specialization with regard to the subjects, instruments, computer simulations, production, technology, supply chain and current issues. It is expected that the outcomes will be a good combination of collaboration and interaction among industries and the universities.
