At the midnight of 16th December 2022, the first hour of Victory Day, 150 blankets were distributed among street children, day laborers and the deprived people of different areas of Dhaka city. WUBian Students Society (WUB SS), the central organization for the students of World University of Bangladesh and Volunteer Bangladesh, Helping Hand, Kaler Kantho Shuvo Shongho jointly took the initiative to distribute blankets in this winter. In the presence of Liza Bosak, Lecturer, Basic Science Division, World University of Bangladesh, WUBSS Advisor Mamun Al Ahnaf, Md Adnan, Arnab Hossain, Jonaid Hossain, Sayedur Rahman, Khairul Islam Sijjil, Khorshed Alam and 23 volunteers’, 150 blankets were distributed among destitute people of Science Lab, Green Road, Farmgate, Khamarbari, Sangsad Bhavan, Dhanmondi and surrounding areas.
