The Department of Architecture and the Department of English, World University of Bangladesh, have organized an intra-sports tournament titled "WUB Intra University Sports Championship-2023". The tournament was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, Honorable Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh on 23 January 2023 and came to an end after a grand prize giving ceremony on 31 January 2023. Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Heads of different departments and other officials were also present.

Ms. Zenat Islam, Head of the Department of Architecture and Mr. Md. Nasim Fardose Sajib, Head of the Department of English greeted everyone for lively and colorful participation from the students, teachers and the staff of WUB. More than 200 students and 50 teachers and staff participated in various games (e.g.; Ludo, Chess, Table Tennis, Carrom, Skipping, Pillow Passing, Badminton)

"WUB Intra University Sports Championship-2023" has been designed to cover SDG 3: Good health and wellbeing. Participation from all of the departments and the successful completion of the tournament helped the students to understand the theme of Sustainable Development Goal 3. WUB believes that the arrangements of such sports reduce violence and establish friendship as well as create leadership, cooperation, fellow feelings among the learners.
