Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Medical Services between World University of Bangladesh (WUB) and AICHI Healthcare Group

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between World University of Bangladesh (WUB) and AICHI Healthcare Group for Medical Services on Wednesday, 23 August 2023 at WUB campus. East West Medical College & Hospital, AICHI Hospital Ltd, Update Dental College & Hospital are the sister concern of AICHI Group, located in Turag and Abdullapur area Dhaka-1230.

The goal of this MoU will be accomplished in the form of (i) General Hospital Service (ii) Support for the Emergency Patients (iii) Consideration of Service Cost (iv) Corporate Payment System Process

Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar, World University of Bangladesh and Tasnim Alim Akemi, Director, Hospital & Administration, AICHI Healthcare Group signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of their respective organization. Bir Muktijoddah Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, the Honorable Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh; Professor Dr. N Nurul Islam, Pro Vice Chancellor and Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer, World University of Bangladesh were also present.

In this occasion honorable Vice Chancellor thanked everyone for entering into this agreement and described its benefits in the personal and family life of all the staff and students of WUB. Morsheda Choudhury, honorable Treasurer said in her speech that this agreement will create an area of ​​cooperation and solidarity between the university teachers and students with all those involved in medical care. Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor also thanked all those present in his speech.

Further, Md Kamrul Hossain, Senior Deputy Registrar & Ahsan Thouhid Milton, Senior Deputy Registrar were signed as the witness of the above MOU on behalf of the World University of Bangladesh and Babul Rudra, Deputy Director, Marketing & Business Development; Md. Ahasan Mahbub, Corporate Lead, Marketing & Business Development on behalf of the AICHI Healthcare Group.
