Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between World University of Bangladesh (WUB) and Kingston Hospital Ltd.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between World University of Bangladesh (WUB) and Kingston Hospital Ltd on Wednesday, 23 August 2023 at WUB campus. Kingston Hospital Ltd offers to provide medical treatment facilities those are available in Kingston Hospital Ltd. to the students, faculty members, staffs, officials and their family members of World University of Bangladesh. The goal of this MoU will be accomplished in the form of (i) General Hospital Service (ii) Support for the Emergency Patients (iii) Consideration of Service Cost (iv) Corporate Payment System Process.

Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar, World University of Bangladesh and Brig Gen Dr. Md. Showkot Ali (Retd), Executive Director, Kingston Hospital Ltd. signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of their respective organization. Bir Muktijoddah Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, the Honorable Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh; Professor Dr. N Nurul Islam, Pro Vice Chancellor and Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer, World University of Bangladesh were also present.

In this signing ceremony honorable Vice Chancellor thanked everyone for entering into this agreement. He also described its benefits in the personal and family life of all the staff and students of WUB. Morsheda Choudhury, honorable Treasurer said that this agreement will create an area of ​​cooperation and solidarity between the university teachers and students with all those involved in medical care. Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor also thanked all those present in his speech.

Further, Ahsan Thouhid Milton, Senior Deputy Registrar was signed as the witness of the above MOU on behalf of the World University of Bangladesh and Engr. Md. Safiullah, Director, on behalf of the Kingston Hospital Ltd.
