Scholarship 

Our Students Scholarship

Last year we offered a scholarship Tk. 575,424,516.50 (equivalent to US$ 6,772,067.56). Thus scholarship was offered to both undergraduate and graduate students of the University.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds and mostly from economically challenged backgrounds. Most students fall in the income bracket of roughly 600,000 per annum.

FOUNDER’S SCHOLARSHIP Students who obtained GPA of 5.0 (without 4th subject) in both SSC and HSC, i.e., both Golden A+.
Or
All ‘A’ grades in O-level (at least five subjects) and A-level (at least two subjects)		 Students will be offered a free tuition fee (100%) and a stipend of Tk. 5000/= each month for maintenance. You should apply for a scholarship once you have applied for admission and successfully been offered a place on the program you wish to study. This can be done while you are being enrolled in the admission process at the Admission Office in any of the campuses of the University.
SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR SPRING 2020 Since this is an open scholarship, candidates who only seek admission in Spring 2020 at any undergraduate programmes of the University are only eligible for this award. It provides a waiver of 70%-80% of the total tuition fees for Dhanmondi Campus and 100% of the total tuition fees for Uttara Permanent Campus You should apply for a scholarship once you have applied for admission and successfully been offered a place on the program you wish to study.
FREEDOM FIGHTER SCHOLARSHIP Free education for sons and daughters of freedom fighters Up to 100% Documents to be submitted for availing Financial Aid under this category are as under:

  1. Application (addressing to the Registrar)
  2. Photo (Two copies of applicant).
  3. Freedom Fighter’s Certificate.
  4. Gazette Notification.
  5. Birth Certificate of the applicant.
  6. National ID Card of the Freedom Fighter.
WUB SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP This scholarship is meant for encouraging students who fall in the following categories for admission, viz. females, physically handicapped, students from backward areas, siblings, spouse, sports persons, artists of WUB student Scholarship. Upto 50% You should apply for a scholarship once you have applied for admission and successfully been offered a place on the program you wish to study. This can be done while you are being enrolled in the admission process at the Admission Office in any of the campuses of the University.
